Fast as a 68040?: The DiiMO 030 accelerator achieves its 68040 level of performance by employing an integrated 64KB static RAM cache (which serves as a very high speed storage area) and Zero-wait state technology (which allows the CPU to perform operations without delays) with a fast 50MHz 68030 processor. These combined features make the DiiMO 030 nearly equivalent to a 68040 based Quadra machine, such as the Quadra 610.

System and Tools Requirements: Macintosh II, IIci, IIvx (IIvi & Performa 600), IIsi, IIcx, IIx, SE/30 or LCIII (P450, 520, LC520) with System 7.0 or later, optional anti-static grounding strap (available at most computer hardware stores) and flat-blade screwdriver. A torx screwdriver and case spreader (or flat-blade screwdriver) is required for the SE/30 in order to open the computer's case.

Installation: The DiiMO 030 accelerator for the Macintosh IIci, IIvx (IIvi & Performa 600) and LCIII plugs directly into the processor direct slot (PDS) on the logic board. For the Macintosh IIsi the DiiMO 030 installs with an adapter that plugs into the processor direct slot (PDS). For the Macintosh II, IIcx and IIx the accelerator installs with an adapter that plugs into the CPU socket. The DiiMO 030 accelerator for the SE/30 is designed to plug directly into the PDS slot on the SE/30 logic board. A pass through PDS slot on the DiiMO 030 SE/30 accelerator allows you the option of installing a third party PDS card (such as a video card for an external color monitor) directly onto the accelerator.

MicroMac Delivers: DiiM0 030 accelerator board (optionally with FPU), Start-up and Utilities disks, detailed, illustrated Installation Manual and free adapter board (required only for the Macintosh IIsi, IIcx and IIx).
